This course is an introduction to artificial intelligence. It intrdoduces the basic ideas behind intelligent agents and shows how to represent the behavior of such agents in a program. Techniques include search, especially heuristic search, and representation of knowledge using logic

Grading

The project plus lab work will be worth 70% of the final grade.
There will be one midterm examination, worth 15% of the final grade.
There will be a final examination, worth 15% of the final grade.

The above proportions may be revised, depending on the progress of the class.
