CS 273 Software Sources
These sources are in varying degrees of readiness for prime time, as
noted:
- Motorola
Freeware 68xx family assembler
- This assembler has been used successfully for years (note that
it was not developed locally)
- Sim6811
- This is a snapshot of a locally-developed simulator for the
6811. It includes both a text-mode simulator and a graphical
frontend that, sadly, depends on Sun's defunct OpenView GUI
toolkit and related tools.... things are pretty disorganized in
this archive.
- tksim11
- This is a tk-based graphical frontend for sim6811, written
locally by Jon Cook
- gdl
- A snapshot of a locally-developed downloader for the HC11, and more
specifically for Fred Martin's miniboard. It's ``not quite
ready for prime time,'' though generally useable.
Unfortunately, it requires several libraries that aren't in
widespread use.
