CS574 presentation: Linux OpenGL drivers
One of the current interesting developments for Linux is the evolution of
OpenGL drivers. Although 3D hardware is pervasive and has been available for
consumer PCs for many years, only recently has it become usable under Linux and
other modern operating systems due to the inherent complexity in securely
synchronizing between the X server, the OpenGL driver, and the client program.
