If you can't view the Japanese text in your browser, adjust your browser's character encoding to read the Unicode character set UTF-8. Note that the Unicode set UTF-16 and any of the regular Japanese sets will not display correctly.
To change your character encoding in Mozilla Firefox
On the menu bar, click View, then Character Encoding and choose the desired characer set.
To change your character encoding in Internet Explorer
On the menu bar, click View, then Encoding and choose the desired character set.
To change your character encoding in Safari
On the menu bar, click Safari, then Preferences... In the Preferences dialog box, click the Appearance button. The click the up/down arrow next to Default Encoding to choose the desired character set.
