Huiping Cao
I obtained my Ph.D. from Department of Computer Science, The University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2007, and my master's and bachelor degrees from School of Information, Renmin University of China (RUC) in 2002 and 1999 respectively.

Before joining NMSU in Fall 2010, I worked in the SONET project at UCSB NCEAS, and in Computer Science and Engineering, at Arizona State University (ASU) for the tDAR project.

Research interests

  • Data mining: graph mining, sequence (spatiotemporal, time series) data mining, graphical models

  • Data engineering: graph search, data integration, query processing (spatial, graph data), table summarization
