Relational Bible Studies:

This type of bible study focuses on building relationships within the group. Often they involve many group activities and "getting to know you" type games. There is usually a lot of time to visit with the other participants.

This style of bible study is geared toward a group that is trying to build friendships. This can be a good style for a group that is attempting to work together as a team.

Good Points

Encouragement and support
People may get a chance to make friends that have similar spiritual interests
Indiviuals can talk about whatever they need to talk about

Bad Points

Are often very long
Could lead to gossip
Not as scripture-oriented
Feelings could get hurt (from tactlessness or someone being judgemental)
