Relational Bible Studies:
This type of bible study focuses on building relationships within the
group. Often they involve many group activities and "getting to know you"
type games. There is usually a lot of time to visit with the other
participants.
This style of bible study is geared toward a group that is trying to build
friendships. This can be a good style for a group that is attempting to
work together as a team.
Good Points
- Encouragement and support
- People may get a chance to make friends that have similar spiritual
interests
- Indiviuals can talk about whatever they need to talk about
Bad Points
- Are often very long
- Could lead to gossip
- Not as scripture-oriented
- Feelings could get hurt (from tactlessness or someone being
judgemental)
