COMPUTER SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIPS

The following scholarships are available for undergraduate CS majors. To apply, fill application in NMSU Scholar Dollars.

General Computer Science Scholarship
Requirements: CS major.
Blount Endowed Scholarship
Requirements: Full-time Sophomore, Junior, or Senior; CS major; GPA 3.0 or higher; US citizen; Preference for female students; Preference for students who qualify for federal financial aid (FAFSA).
El Paso Energy – Computer Science Scholarship
Requirements: CS major; US citizen; Preference for students who demonstrate academic excellence; Preference for students who are members of a protected group; Preference for students who qualify for federal financial aid (FAFSA).
Richard H. Stark Endowed Scholarship
Requirements: CS major; Exhibits outstanding qualities; Significant improvement in academic performance during university academic career can be a determining feature of quality for the purposes of this scholarship, though not an essential element.
Brandy K. Streit Memorial Scholarship
Requirements: CS major; GPA 3.0 or higher; Preference for military veterans, military reserve members, or ROTC members. 
J. Mack Adams Endowed Scholarship
Requirements: Full-time student; CS major; GPA 3.0 or higher; Qualifies for federal financial aid (FAFSA). 
Dooglamoo Studios Current Use Scholarship
Requirements: CS major; GPA 3.0 or higher; US citizen; NM legal state of residency; Qualifies for federal financial aid (FAFSA). 
Mark Nesiba Memorial Endowed Scholarship for Women in Computing
Requirements: CS major; GPA 3.0 or higher; Preference for female students; Preference for Hispanic students; Qualifies for federal financial aid (FAFSA). 
Ross & Lydia Lopez Minority Undergraduate Scholarship
Requirements: CS major; GPA 3.0 or higher; Member of an ethnic minority (African-American, Hispanic, or Native American). 
Skip Wagner/ALATEC Current Use Book Scholarship
Requirements: Senior; CS major; GPA 3.2 or higher; US citizen; Preference for students with declared minor in mathematics; Preference for students with NM legal state of residency; Preference for students with Java and/or Python language skills as evidenced by classroom work or work experience.
