Opening in Human-Computer Interaction & Visualization

The Computer Science Department is seeking a candidate at the assistant professor level whose research focuses on visualization and human-computer interaction, but qualified candidates in strongly related fields are encouraged to apply. Expertise in cutting edge computer graphics and data visualization is highly desirable. Candidates should have demonstrated success in these areas and in working with a highly diversified student population. The candidate’s teaching, scholarship, and service should complement and enhance the department’s areas of strength.

The candidate should be able to teach both graduate and undergraduate level courses in Computer Science, publish in reputed conferences and academic journals, and advise students at all levels. The successful candidate will also have responsibilities in service to the department, college, university, and community and in contributing to an educational environment that supports learning for a diverse student population.
