CS 474: Homework Assignments

Please remember: homework is due before class on the due date.

There will be two types of assignments: paper assignments, and programs.

• Paper assignments must be turned in by the start of class, on the due date. You may do these either on actual paper, or you may submit them to me as a PDF or PostScript file, using the web-based submission system. No, I won't accept a Word or StarOffice document.

• Programs must conform to these standards.

• HW 1: VM and Processes - Due Monday, September 10, 2007 at 12:30 PM (note: this assignment is late)
• HW 2: Mutual Exclusion and Bounded Buffers - Due Friday, September 21, 2007 at 12:30 PM (note: this assignment is late)
• HW 3: Deadlock - Due Monday, October 8, 2007 at 12:30 PM (note: this assignment is late)
• HW 4: Page Replacement - Due Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 12:30 PM (note: this assignment is late)
• HW 5: File Systems - Due Monday, November 12, 2007 at 12:30 PM (note: this assignment is late)
• HW 6: Rot13 Server - Due Friday, December 7, 2007 at 12:30 PM (note: this assignment is late)
