CS 473 Lecture Notes
Warning: these are the notes I lecture from. I'm making them available
to you on the odd chance you may find them useful; however, they typically
consist of an outline with cryptic references. No attempt is being made to
make them readable!
Wow!
Thornton's CDC6600 Book!
Through the generosity of J. E. Thornton (the author and copyright
holder) and Tom Uban (who obtained permission, scanned the book, and
made it available on the web), the definitive book describing one of
the most important computers in history has been made available as a
PDF file. This is just an incredibly generous act on both their parts.
You are all invited to get copies of the file and read it; however,
it's far too big to print on the CS department printers.
