In this talk I will describe the research problem of protein structure prediction using geometrical constraints. Our recent effort and results towards this problem will be briefly discussed. In particular, I will bring a problem that might be of interest to the mathematical community. It is a computational geometry problem related to the solution space study of the loop closure in protein modeling.
