Integration and the End of the Semester

Proposed versions please9 - please11 have had enough problems with textures that they haven't become the new "flagship" demo for our project. The texture management needed to scale to N rooms is going to require some "real" (C/OpenGL) coding work, which most likely won't happen before the end of the semester. Can we still move forward from here before the end of the semester? Yes, I would like to

(a) revise please8 to use the smaller textures
(b) integrate some kind of avatar (sphere, or simple humanoid) into please8 (c) integrate the network client code into please8
