Leading a small group of professionals and students and administrating Computer Science Dept. domain utilizing TCP/IP over Ethernet network protected by simple firewall. The network consist of several hundreds of Linux, and Windows and MacOS hosts and servers (in past also Solaris and few IRIX, Sequent).
These include variety of servers:

mail (sendmail and postfix) , name (LDAP currently, YP in past), web (Apache mostly, some websites utilizing wordpress), DB (MySQL, Oracle, DB-2, Postgress, ...), print, home space (NFS mostly), backup (, ...
(in past also Sun Rays thin client network), security, users, ...

and special research machines and clusters of machines:

Took part in implementation of a new laboratory environment for new CS271 & CS272 classes. Maintained hypertext program (SysNotes) in Unix environment -XView toolkit. Implemented on-line hypertext manuals for Miranda programming language and C-Beginner manual. Tested AUI - a graphical user interface for the Awk programming language developed at CS NMSU.

1993 : Trade Team Chief

Responsible for marketing, advertisement, trade, installation (HW + SW), and support of system DEFIS - SW system for pharmacies in the Czech Republic. This application was the mostly used complex system in pharmacies in the Czech Republic (more than 50% of all pharmacies in the country used this system = about 70% pharmacies which had any computer system).
47%/year increase in sales of DEFIS SW during this time.

1992 : Junior Chief Program Analyst

Responsible for design and implementation of the DEFIS system.

1992 : Trained in SSADM (Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology) developed by LBMS.

Experience with Excelerator CASE tool developed by Intersolve.

Developed optical resonator for solid state lasers (YAG/YAP) with adjustable spherical shaped mirrors.
