CSGSO Library Policy

The following policy has been set forth in an effort to provide fair access to the library materials we have available.

  • Requirements: To check out a book from the CSGSO Library you must be a Computer Science Graduate Student .
  • Initial Loan Period: The initial loan period for all materials in the CSGSO Library is the number of weeks remaining in the current semester. However, after being checked out for three weeks these materials are subject to recall by other student wishing to check them out.
  • Accountability: You are responsible for returning all materials in the condition that they were lent to you. You are liable for any replacement costs for materials that are lost or damaged.
  • Recall: After materials have been checked out for three weeks they are subject to recall by other graduate students. When this occurs the student who currently has the materials will be notified and will have one week to return them to the grad rep.
  • Requesting Materials: To checkout out a book go to SH 131. Here is a list of books that the CSGSO currently has.
  • Replacement Charges: A replacement fee will be incurred for damaged, lost, or non-returned items. The cost of replacement is equivalent to the original purchase price.
