About Me

Abderrahmen ("Abde") Mtibaa, Ph.D., is currently an Assistant Professor at Department of Math & Computer Science in the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. Prior to that he has occupied several research positions such as a visiting assistant professor at the Computer Science department in New Mexico State University (NMSU), a Research Scientist at Texas A&M University, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. During his PhD. studies, at the Sorbonne University (Paris, France), he worked closely with Christophe Diot & Martin May at the Technicolor Paris Research Lab.

Research Interests

Information-Centric Networking, Networked Systems, Social Computing, Cyber Security, Privacy, IoT, mobile computing, pervasive systems, mobile security, mobile opportunistic networks/DTN, wireless and Ad-hoc networks, mobility models, protocol design, routing/forwarding, network communities and social networking.

I am often looking for talented PhD students and hosting research fellows/visitors/interns interested in the above areas.
