- Janet Barnett visited Dan King at Sarah Lawrence College on April 30, 2009.
- Janet Barnett visited Nkechi Agwu of Burough of Manhattan Community College on April 30, 2009 in order to discuss teaching with historical projects, and observed project presentations by students enrolled in Prof. Agwu's Discrete Mathematics class on May 5, 2009.
- Nkechi Agwu of the Borough of Manhattan Community College, City University of New York, visited NMSU Jan. 19-21, to observe teaching with historical projects and discuss their implemention.

- David Pengelley (NMSU) visited Shahriar Shahriari at Pomona College on November 12-14, 2008. He gave a talk in the Claremont Colleges Colloquium while there.
