We have made arrangements for discounted rooms at Hilton Hotel,
Ramada Inn and Sleep Inn.
(It is also possible to stay at the students dormitory. See instructions
below.)
Both Sleep Inn and Ramada Inn
are within walking distance from the Science Hall at NMSU, where the
conference talks are taking place.
The Hilton hotel (located approximately 4 km from the campus)
provides complimentary shuttle service between the hotel
and the university.

Click
here for the same map in much bigger size
with readable street names. The conference presentations are to be held
in Science Hall room 107. Walking/Driving directions: use the above map
(and the bigger sized map) for getting to the block labelled as Science
Hall in the map. Indeed the block labelled as Science Hall consists
of 5 buildings. Science Hall is the biggest building. Click
here
for another map that shows some of the campus buildings
that include Science Hall (Building 54), located
in the block surrounded by the streets Frenger Street,
Sweet Avenue, Stewart Street and Williams Avenue.
(There are restaurants located at the corner of University Avenue and
Espina Street, and in the shopping center on University Avenue
located near the Sleep Inn.)
To reserve a room at a hotel, please send a
fax to the hotel directly.
(Sending credit card information over an email for room reservation
is probably unsafe.) You should include in the fax:
- your name
- affliation and address
- nights of stay
(The conference is on June 21-23. So,
probably, most participants are staying on the nights of
June 20, 21, 22 and 23.)
- room type request (single room or double room)
- mention "DCFS Conference Rate"
- credit card information
(Visa/MasterCard card number, card holder's name,
