** Personal Biography Activity

Write a paragraph or two about yourself. Be sure to include basic information (name, tribal affiliation, hometown, high school, grade level, and hobbies). Explain why you came to camp and what you want to get out of your experience here. Also, discuss your plans for the future and career goals. We encourage you to be creative. This is about you, so put your personal stamp on it.

** Narrative

Your narrative will consist of five journal entries. The purpose of the narrative is to give you the opportunity not just to describe your activities here, but also to reflect upon and synthesize your experience. Journal entries should range anywhere from a paragraph to a page in length-whatever it takes for you to express yourself fully. In some entries, you may want to discuss the skills you've been developing, while in other entries you may want to talk about your "whole experience" at camp. We know that you'll get more out of camp than just academic skills and encourage you to write about other things you're learning related to college life. We will provide guiding questions for each entry.

** Tribal Profile

You will be evaluating other tribal websites to get ideas of what you want yours to be like. Your tribal profile is the most creative of your activities because of the opportunity for visual design. The purpose of your profile is to provide viewers with significant information about your tribe. Clearly, you can't include everything about your tribe-only the highlights. Written content might include paragraphs about demographic information, location, tribal history, current news and events, tribal government, businesses and schools, language information, etc. Visual content might include lists as well as graphics and pictures (family, maps, tribal flags or seals, art, cultural symbols, etc.).
