Knowledge representation, Logic, and Advanced Programming Laboratory

The Knowledge representation, Logic, and Advanced Programming Laboratory is an established laboratory within the Department of Computer Science. The Laboratory conducts research in the areas of Logic Programming and Constraint Programming, Deductive Databases, Object Oriented Databases, Programming Languages and Parallel Processing.
 

Programming Languages, Environments and Automated Software Engineering Laboratory

The NMSU Programming Languages, Environments and Automated Software Engineering (PLEASE) Laboratory is focused on research methods and practical tools that reduce programming effort, especially in critical areas of the software lifecycle such as debugging and maintenance. The laboratory is physically located in the Computer Science Department and hosts a collection of workstations and student offices. The laboratory serves as the home base for research projects such as the FORMAN and Unicon languages.
