Ivan Strnad obtained his Master's degree in Physical Engineering from Faculty of Nuclear Science and Physical Engineering, Prague in 1989, and Master's degree in Computer Science from NMSU in 1996. He joined the Computer Operations Group in the Computer Science Department during Spring of 1996. He is manager of the group since August 1998.
He is currently working on his Ph.D. and his areas of interest are mainly on Scheduling, Distributed Systems and Networking - wireless, broadband, management, and security.
