Logic Programming and Biology

Applications of LP to biology are being investigated. A domain specific language is being developed to allow biologists to write software for phylogenetic inference at the level of abstraction at which they think. Tools are also being developed for rendering biological software systems interoperable (e.g., a complete parser/translator for NEXUS has been developed).
